🧬 Scam patterns
Pattern matching that improves as rugs are reported. Every rug check compares the coin against confirmed rugs and well-known coins.
What it checks
- Copycat names and tickers. Folds case, emoji, accents, look-alike letters (Cyrillic “а” vs “a”, 0 vs o) and compares with trigram and edit-distance similarity. Shown as “Looks like a copy of X (similarity N%)”.
- Copied descriptions of confirmed rugs (word overlap).
- Same creator wallet as a confirmed rug: “Creator linked to a reported rug”.
- Risk-flag overlap: the same mix of on-chain warnings (active mint/freeze authority, concentration, low liquidity) as confirmed rugs.
These are heuristics, not a trained AI model. They flag coins once they exist on-chain; nothing can stop a launch before it happens. A match is a signal to look closer, not a verdict. Educational, not financial advice.
